Royce Chocolates Green Tea Fair!

Posted on July 9, 2022 by Nini Dizon

Matcha addicts! Look what I found!

Something that will leave your mouth drooling and your heart pumping with joy. I felt the excitement rushing through my veins as soon as I saw Royce’s Green Tea Fair announcement on social media. It made me feel teary-eyed and I know that matcha-lovers can relate with me.

I did not waste any time and planned my visit to the nearest Royce store to purchase one which is located at Level 3, Powerplant Mall, Makati.

Royce chocolate is a chocolate from Japan giving only the finest matcha quality that you deserve. Royce Chocolate Philippines brings to the country world-class chocolates from Hokkaido, Japan.

As soon as I saw the store, I was shrieking with joy inside imagining the green tea box in my hands and the taste of the matcha chocolates in my mouth.

Here are their green tea chocolates selection:

Nama Chocolate Matcha – Php 680

Matcha Almond Chocolate – Php 700

Matcha Bar Chocolate – Php 550

Matcha Chocolate – Php 700

Chocolate Wafers Matcha – Php 680

Prafeuille Chocolate Matcha – Php 680

I felt hypnotized looking at the green boxes of the matcha chocolates that I couldn’t decide which one to buy. But even before I went to the store, I knew that I really wanted to buy the Nama Chocolate Matcha and it turns out to be their bestseller.

I was a bit worried at first that it might melt and not look good after I open it once I get home but the staff assured me that it can last without refrigeration for only about 3-4 hours. Finally, I bought the Nama Chocolate Matcha and I’m glad of its secure packaging. Aside from being placed on a big paper bag, I like that they placed it inside a foil pocket bag to preserve its cool temperature. Not only that but I find it also awesome that they inserted a little flexi ice sheet inside the foil pocket bag for added coolness.

The moment of truth came as I arrived home and opened my box of goodness.

It looks so stunning to the eyes and I carefully tore its inner plastic and finally gazed at its perfection.

You will see 20 pieces of beautifully placed small rectangular green tea chocolates lightly dusted with matcha powder. It leaves a gentle matcha scent that matches its smooth and cold outer texture. It comes with a tiny plastic knife that you can use to slice it.

I sliced one and took my first bite. I’m in heaven and forgot my name after that first smooth bite of Nama Chocolate Matcha. I like its jelly-like smoothness that blends in with the taste of the matcha plus the coolness that lathers inside my mouth. I like the blend of the matcha and white chocolate where it’s not too strong in matcha taste, just the right amount of bitterness and sweetness of the chocolate.

If you’ll check out Royce’s website, they describe their White “Nama Chocolate” with the aroma and bitterness of green tea, made by blending in powdered premium green tea leaves and sprinkling on green tea-flavored chocolate powder. It’s a fine, delicate combination of selected chocolate and fresh cream with a hint of prestige liqueurs. Royce Nama Chocolate is velvety smooth, and melts in your mouth. Its shelf life is one month.

I was so glad to discover this green tea fair and hopefully I’ll be able to purchase more of their other matcha chocolates soon. The green tea fair started last July 1 and will end until the second week of July or until their inventory lasts. Spoil yourself today with Royce’s Matcha Chocolates or give it to someone you know who’s in love with matcha.

Other Royce stores that you can visit to purchase yours are Greenbelt, Trinoma, and Magnolia
